I`m sure it`s a different kind of marketing for sure.
What main niches do the <a href="https://www.ftc.gov/" target="_blank">FTC</a> regulate?

That`s great that you`ve had success with them,

Yeah, I have been pretty happy with the eBay Partner Network. They are very picky on what they allow, though. For instance, on one of my niches I needed to disclose under each picture that they would be going to eBay. It's one of the ways the FTC regulates eBay's affiliates. It was kind of a pain, but working with them has been great :).

Hi Garen,
I like the $185 commission :). I work in a different niche that has a little lower commission but still around $100 on average, it pays off.
The cookie life with amazon is only 24 hours, unless they put their item in the checkout cart, then the cookie life is I believe 45 days, I have to double check that but...
That is the downfall with amazon or rather some of the states due to tax laws that they don't work with all states. I have not tried eBay is it worth it?

Thanks for chiming in Garen,

Vicky

Hey Vicky,

I have to agree with you that 4% really doesn’t look very appealing. I am niches that pay me $185 a sale and to get anything close to that people would need to purchase something through my affiliate link for $5,000. But, moving up to 6% after just 7 sales is a noticeable increase.

I do believe that you get credit for purchases people make for 30 days. Is that true or is that information incorrect? I believe they are on a 30 day cookie.

Sadly, Amazon will not work with residence that declare their business in Missouri so they are not an option for me. I have been using eBay’s partner network for 3 months and have been seeing good results. Have you used eBay's partner network?
