Hi Cathy,
Thank you for your comment, I totally agree with you.
I find this to be very true.. "7 years of inspiration-searching is nothing if you don’t take action."
If you just get the ball rolling, if you start taking action, there will be results. It`s funny how one thing leads to another.
If you asked me 7 years ago, if I would run an "affiliate marketing site" like this one , itsvicky.com. I would probably have laughed and said I know nothing about it, I just want to find a way to make my dreams come true...
Taking action doesn`t mean that you have to have all the answers, take one step at the time implement what you learn and adjust along the way.
Just like you Cathy I find myself fueled with more motivation than inspiration, if you are in this for the long haul, then you will get to that point.

Thanks Cathy,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
This article hits home big time. Ever since I graduated from college 7 years ago, I've always wanted to do something 'big' for my career. I had a vision, but I didn't have a plan. So I went around looking. I talked to people, traveled to various places and got lots of ideas.

Looking back, those 'ideas' were more like inspiration (the pulling factor) but I am still zero when it comes to the pushing factor. 7 years of inspiration-searching is nothing if you don't take action. So when I discovered the WA training last year, I realized it's time to stop dreaming and start working hard (and smart).

Today, I am fueled with more motivation than inspiration. The self-pushing factor is very important because it's what ignite the passion towards the goals.

Hi Neil,
Thanks for your comment.
I agree, I don`t know what I would do without my calendar. I still write down, yes no typing in a document, hand write my daily tasks. I like having my daily/weekly to do list right by my side. This goes hand in hand with self discipline and getting things done. You are so right these daily tasks moves you towards that bigger goal.
Appreciate your comment,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
Great post and I loved your points on ways to keep inspired. Being creative, thinking of new ideas while loving what you do is a great way to keep the inspiration coming. Regular reviews of what I have achieved and what I have yet to achieve usually sparks some new ideas and might result in a To Do list. If I get stuck with inspiration, reading other people's posts or questions at Wealthy Affiliate helps as does the training. I find habit as a form of self discipline helps with the motivation, such as working a set number of hours in the day and I must get x done by the end of the day. This is breaking bigger goals down into smaller time constrained goals. The little goals soon add up to get that big goal completed.
Thanks
