Mediavine not approve everyone’s account on their plateform. Their minimum requirement is approx 28000 sessions per month. They get your traffic record by sending you email in which they asked you to collect previous three months traffic record from Google analytics.

Another great option is MediaVine. They don’t give you the control of Ezoic, but I multiplied my EMPV by at least 4x almost instantly by switching. They do have options of having more/fewer ads, as well as turning off certain ads on certain pages.

You don’t get all the juicy data for testing, but for my niche, with my content, the earnings were a clear indication to switch. I’ve seen other people with opposite results though, so I’m curious as to how your site would do.

Also, they have a 3 month minimum contract, with some minimum traffic requirements, so they are not for everyone!

I don’t do much affiliate marketing with this site, mostly advertising so can’t really answer that question in a good way.
