A great way to get some good traffic to your site is to use video. Use video for free traffic to your site.
This is the basic of getting traffic using video:
You create a video or have it done for you and submit it to video sites like YouTube and Vimeo. These videos rank well not only within their websites like YouTube but also in Google and other search engines. The fact is that if you optimize your videos correctly the search engines will be happy to rank your videos well for you often on first page for your optimized keyword.
Let`s break it down into:
- Creat your video
- Where to submit your video
- How to make Google love your video
Create your video
You can either create a video yourself OR you can have it done for you. Now it depends up on what you want and need.
Here is a quick video on how to create a short video yourself.
If you are on a budget a great place to find videos are Fiverr. For $5 you can get a testimonial, review or short video created for you. If you are willing to spend a little bit more you can hire a professional company to do it all for you.
Where to Submit Your Video
So the number one place that I like to use is YouTube. YouTube rank very well within Google and other search engines. The good thing is that you ”ride” on the popularity of YouTube.
I have had many of my YouTube video show up on first page of Google for my targeted keyword. So how do I do that?
How to Make Google Love Your Video
So you have your video done and you have uploaded it to YouTube. How do you get it to rank well within Google and other search engines.
First you want to make sure you have done your keyword research and checked your competition. By doing that you`ll know that you have a good keyword and that you can rank your video within Google.
Now the key is to write a good description. Write a description around 400 words and use the keyword in the first and last sentence like you would with an article. You also want to add your keyword within the keyword tags.
Make sure you add a link to your website at the top of the description so that people watching your video see your link and can click it without having to open up the description.
After optimizing your video you want to share it on social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, Digg and other social places where you enjoy hanging out.
