Marketing to the heart of your visitors will be far more effective then outlining features. If you can connect with your visitors on a deeper level, so that they FEEL that they have come to the right website, they are more likely to stay on your site.
As online marketers we want to create relationships. We want to connect with our readers and give them great reasons to hang around our site. There is no better way to this than to connect with the heart.
When you have that connection, then they probably want to find out about the features as well. Make sure you use a combination of benefits and features to give your visitors value.
When they land on your site they should FEEL like they belong, they should FEEL that they have found what they were looking for.
Last week I posted an article called 3 Online Marketing Tips for the Heart. You can read more about the marketing tips for the heart here.
Today I want to give you 3 examples of websites that market to your heart. These 3 sites does this exceptionally well. They don`t focus on the features they focus on the benefits for you the potential customer.
3 Sites that Market to Your Heart
These 3 companies does a great job connecting with their audience. Looking at their website and commercials they have one thing in common – they market to your heart.
1. Apple – Markets to Your Heart
Apple does a great job including their product and connecting emotionally with their audience. You will get a clear message of what the brand stand for with little info of the actual features of their products in their advertisements.
Of course if you go to their website you can get all the information of the features but most marketing is geared towards your heart. If you are an Apple user you want to belong, you want to be apart of what Apple stands for.
2. Pampers – Who Can Resist a Cute Baby?
Who can resist a cute little baby right. Pampers don`t even mention diapers in some of their commercials. They want to relate to you as the consumer, they want to find common ground with parents.
They could have said we make the best diaper, they will keep your child dry… but no. They focus on melting that mommy and daddy heart. They market to your FEELINGS, you can almost feel how you hold your own baby and how you would do anything in the world for that little one.

3. WorldVision – Great Cause
This is an organisation that helps children in all parts of the world, to a better life. By touching our hearts they raise money for a good cause.
If you have the means to help children in need, who wouldn`t, right. They do a great job sending out the message of children in need so that people that can afford it open their wallets.
WorldVision is an organisation I`ve been supporting myself for years.
What do you market online? Do you market to the heart with benefits or do you just outline the features?
Let me know what you think in the comment section below,
Have a productive day,
