I am Vicky.

First I want to say, thank you for stopping by my site, I really do appreciate it.

I created this site to share my Internet Marketing journey that has allowed me to stay home with my two kids AND create a full-time income, since 2007.

WHY AM I DOING THIS… TWO VERY GOOD REASONS

I do internet marketing so that I can be there for the 2 people that need me the most, right now. To share the joy when something great happens, to laugh at the knock-knock jokes that we make up, to do silly dances just because… and to wipe the tears when the asphalt attacks.

I am so lucky to have my 2 kids in my life! I choose to work from home so that I don`t have to miss one bit of their childhood.

I DON`T WANT TO MISS A THING

The first smile, the first time my daughter sat by herself, the first time my son walked… the first time they said ”mamma”. This is also the years to enjoy quality time together. I wanted to take my daughter to Kindermusic classes and my son to playgroups…

I didn`t want to miss any of that… and I didn`t.

I wanted to be able to do all that … and I did.

For that, I am forever grateful and I want to help other parents, do the same. 

MY STORY…

I was born and raised in Sweden. I always loved to travel so right after high school I took a year off and came over to the US working as an au-pair. I have always loved kids and I needed to improve my English…

Fast forward about 6 years. I`m back in Sweden but this American guy comes over to visit, we meet, fall in love… and we are now married with 2 kids…

When we had our son we were living in Sweden. In Sweden, it`s your right to take about a year off with 90% pay for maternity leave. In fact, the dads have certain months they ”have” to take or those days will go to waste…. I know, they WANT the dads to stay home with the kids, it`s pretty awesome…

THE MOVE

We decided to move to the US for a while (has now been 9 years, wow time fly) our son was about a year old and I was looking at different options to create an income.

Going back to work with him being so little working long hours just gave me a stomach ache thinking about it.

We needed the extra money though, so I started to look for online opportunities. I spend a lot of time, researching and trying things out. Some things worked, some things just cost me money… and that was not what I was looking for. I wanted to MAKE money NOT spend it.

A lot of the “opportunities” I ran into were SCAMS.

Just leave your email and I will tell you the secret…
Pay me this and I will make you a millionaire…
Make thousands by 2 pm tomorrow…
Call 100 friends and make $2…

If you have been looking for a “work from home” opportunity”,  I am sure you know exactly what I mean.

I had no interest in working for somebody else I knew I wanted to build my own business online, but I had no idea HOW.

This was the things I was looking for:

• Work from home so that I could be home with my kids
• Have a flexible schedule, set my own hours
• A business that allowed me to travel, a business I could take with me when we went back to Sweden for visits
• A business I could be proud of
• A business that made good money (so I could pay for the tickets back to Sweden, ads up when your family is growing : )

”I wanted MY own business I wanted to be MY own boss, that was my dream”

Only two problems

• I had NO online experience
• I had NO clue where to start

So I build my first website promoting Scandinavian design products, awesome idea I thought, but I had no clue what I was doing. I did figure out how to get my site up (probably took me two weeks to just get it up, today that takes minutes lol) but I had NO IDEA how to get people to actually visit my website…

 I failed miserably, did not make $1.

Trying to do this by myself when I had no clue what I was doing, was not a good plan.

Somehow I figured out that I could add some ads to the site, and make some money that way. I started to do some more research online and I ran into a website, that to be honest changed my life.

I know it might sound dramatic “changed my life” but it`s true…

I say that because the website or rather the people behind it gave me the tools and training to make this ”online thingie thing” work. That`s where I learned all the ins and outs of internet marketing.

That was 10+ years ago…

Fast forward 10 years and I make a full-time income from my kitchen table.

I don’t share all my sites and all my income BUT I do an  Amazon case study on one of my sites that are very transparent. I share monthly updates that include traffic, income numbers, expenses and more. Read the latest post here.

That this case study site, this affiliate site made me  $22.640.40 in 2017, is pretty amazing. The site is still young and has a lot of growth left.

I sure am happy I took the leap a “few” years ago. I am still part of the community that “changed my life”.

ME TODAY…

My youngest is now in 3rd grade, I miss having her on my lap like I did when she was a toddler, writing articles for my blogs :). My oldest is in 7th grade.

The best thing is though that I pack their lunch in the morning, I get them off the bus in the afternoon. I don`t miss a single school party…

We do homework, we have plenty of time in the afternoon to do our silly dances and knock-knock jokes.

I take most of the summer off to be with my kids. We love to travel and go back to Sweden as often as we can.

I can do all this because I am in charge of my own time and my own schedule running MY own online business. Don`t get me wrong, I put in a lot of hours working, I just do it on my own terms.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work from home, and to be able to spend the time with my kids that I do.

With this site, I have made it my mission to help anybody interested, to achieve the same thing.

I believe that if you want to stay home with your kids, there are ways to make that happen.

I believe that working from home has been THE best choice for me and my family, and I want to share that with others.

I believe that if I can make a living online, the opportunity is there for anybody.
